I am a researcher and educator in light and lighting since the late 1970’s with a particular emphasis on the built environment. I was the Course Director for many years of the MSc Light and Lighting offered at UCL’s Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment which has been responsible for a generation of graduates in the multidisciplinary consultancies, the independent lighting design houses and the lighting companies both here in the UK and internationally. I have also supervised many doctoral students in lighting. I am a Fellow of the Society of Light and Lighting.
